Luiza Krkuti holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Criminal Justice from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and a J.D. from Touro Law School (2010). She is admitted to practice law in the State of New York. Luiza is fluent in Albanian.
Luiza is an Associate Attorney with the firm. In this capacity, she concentrates on representing clients in all aspects of U.S. immigration. Luiza has always been passionate about helping individuals seeking opportunities in the U.S. Luiza has handled complex immigration litigation cases, and all aspects of motion practice. She has represented clients before the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services, Executive Office of Immigration Review. In addition, Luiza has represented clients at adjustment, naturalization, Stokes, and asylum interviews. Luiza has successfully brought clients back to the United States after they were deported. She has also successfully stopped clients with criminal convictions from being deported by obtaining hardship waivers in Immigration Court.
Prior to joining our firm, Luiza worked at DiRaimondo & Masi, LLP, and Wildes & Weinberg, P.C., where she gained experience in all areas of immigration law, including deportation/removal, employment and family based immigration, asylum, withholding of removal and convention against torture, waivers, consular processing, appeals and nonimmigrant visas.
She is committed to matters of equity and social justice, and actively pursues positive social change. A persuasive legal writer and enthusiastic advocate, Luiza helps develop creative strategies tailored to meet her clients’ specific legal needs.
